October Country

The night is dark and all the wind is in
your sighs
October Country
The night is dark and all  the stars are in
your eyes

You look so good to me, you look so far away
You look so good to me, I wish that I could stay
October Country
Complications all set in from when you're born
Until you die
You look so good to me, you look so far away
You look so good to me, I wish that I could stay
(songwriter: Earp John)

October. And I wish that I could stay here in
October Country.
The climate change that doesn't exist in the
mad minds of greedy men, has burnt the left
coast to cinders and families and homes are
gone, gone away.

Come the spring, I will also have to leave
this place I once believed I could make
my home.
But,
Complications all set in from when you're born
Until you die...

Bradbury was related to the American Shakespeare scholar Douglas Spaulding and descended from Mary Bradbury, who was tried at one of the Salem witch trials in 1692.

  Take it from Ray:
"I never listened to anyone who criticized my taste in
space travel, sideshows or gorillas.
When this occurs, I pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room."
                               "DON'T THINK!
  Thinking is the enemy of
  creativity. It's self-conscious. And anything
self-conscious is lousy. You can't try to do
things. You simply must DO things."

                  and --
"You don't need to burn books to destroy a culture.
Just get people to stop reading them."
